Free Event | No Registration Required - Join us for the “’Still We Rise’ Legacy Series,” a new program focused on intergenerational building. The Legacy Series is community-driven and was created by the Davis family based on the experiences of mother and son Estine and Micheal Davis. The events will take place while the ‘Still We Rise’ exhibit is on display and will focus on different topics that are important for families to consider as they transition between life phases. 

Estate Planning*

This discussion will begin with the basic definition of Estate Planning and proceed into the five (5) basic plans recommended to be part of any Estate Plan: Will, Trust, Power Of Attorney, Medical Directive, and Transfer (Paid) on death. We will go into detail identifying the makeup of each plan and the relative importance of each as part of an Estate Plan. The workshop will conclude with a process to manage your Estate Plan and how to include Legal services of an Attorney to establish these plans.
