Free Event - Join us for the last few days of Angel Cabrales’ “The Uncolonized: A Vision in the Parallel”! During this FREE Last Thursday event, visitors will be invited to play life-sized patolli (an Indigenous Mesoamerican boardgame), make their own accessories inspired by “The Uncolonized” using 3D doodle pens, and listen to a live dj set by Sydney. Artist Angel Cabrales will also be doing a tour of the exhibit at 6:30pm for those who like to know more about the inspiration and meaning behind the pieces.

“The Uncolonized” is a peek into a parallel world where the Western Hemisphere averted colonization and the Indigenous people of the lands thrived unobstructed. This body of work celebrates the Indigenous heritage of people and is intended to provoke curiosity into the untaught histories of our Mesoamerican legacy.

This exhibition is on display through Saturday, May 27.
