Join us for a workshop where you can create your own altar elements to take home while learning more about the history of altars from their Indigenous roots to today. Each ticket will include a cantarito plus supplies to paint and decorate, materials to create your own conical incense, and non-alcoholic refreshments. A short talk from EPMH Director Erica Marin will kick off the event and trace the evolution of altars across time and cultures.
