Free Event + Free Textbooks - As part of the celebration of Binational Education Week 2024, the Educational Orientation Window of the Consulate General of Mexico in El Paso, in collaboration with the El Paso History Museum, will hold on August 21st, and 23rd the event "Stories at the El Paso History Museum." During this activity, Mexican legends will be read and personified by the Club Búhos Lectores from Ciudad Juarez. Also, Consul General Mauricio Ibarra from the Mexican Consulate and Ivette Sanchez, news anchor for Telemundo News 48, will talk about the Independence of Mexico. This activity seeks to strengthen Spanish reading through the free textbooks given by the consulate, as well as the importance of being bilingual.
