Free Event - Join us for our 5th annual community Lunar New Year celebration! In partnership with Pho Tre Bien, Ai Hwa Chinese Language School, and other community organizations, we will be ringing in Year of the Dragon on February 10, 2024.
Here is everything that’s happening:

Free Activities
El Paso Museum of History
Calligraphy, fortune telling, mini-dragon puppets, Chinese rattle drum (small handheld drum) to use in the procession, and more!
Pho Tre Bien will be on-site selling food.
4:00pm
Join-in Dragon Procession**
Starts at El Paso Museum of History leading to El Paso Museum of Art*
A 0.3 mile downhill walk heading South on North Santa Fe Street.
*Note: North Santa Fe Street will be temporarily closed off at West Missouri Avenue and Henry Trost from 3:30pm to 4:45pm to allow for the procession.
**Unlike a parade where you might watch, the dragon procession is meant for everyone to participate and join-in!

Lion dance, fan dance, audience participatory singing (Happy New Year in Chinese), Chinese yo-yo, and a fashion show!
