In the spirit of the Indigenous ELZN Community located in the Lacandon jungle of Chiapas, Mexico, El Paso Museum of History's escuelita (school) is a space for everyone. The heart of this philosophy is "un mundo donde quepan muchos mundos" or a world where many worlds fit.
This escuelita is a place to read about a multitude of subjectives and experiences throughout history, it is a place to learn, share, create, and dream. Above all, it is a space of inclusion, empathy, and autonomy.
Visit us, read our books, participate in an activity or just sit and dream of a kinder, better world.
